The Workshop on Major Strategic Development of the Construction of National Service Teachers’ Team in the Discipline of Teacher Education and 2019 Academic Annual Meeting of CTER, the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Science for General Education in the Ministry of Education are successfully rolled out in Jing Shi Academy in Beijing Normal University on January 4th to 5th, 2020, revolving around attention pulled to teacher education discipline in disadvantaged locations. 

 

 

On keynote report, associate professors Ye,Juyan and Chi,Jin from CTER , principal from Education Department of George Mason University Mark P Ginsberg and a researcher Ma,Luting from the Ministry of Education all present their refreshing and impressive ideas. For reports on behalf of the whole staff in CTER and post-doctorates, professor Li,Qiong and Song,Huan share their respective research direction and fruits. Receiving insights combined Hainan Normal University and Beijing Normal University, the base project reports also gains remarkable significance. Afterwards, here witnesses the founding ceremony of Alumni Association in CTER of BNU, featuring several eminent alumina representatives delivering their speeches.

 

 

On 5th, the section devoted to promoting the Pilot Project for Excellent Teachers in the Ministry of Education – the ‘‘APEx’’ in BNU, runs as expected in parallel with an exclusive meeting for report on “Three Regions and Three States” Program for new systems built for teacher education. Afternoon seminar is dedicated to Teacher-oriented training projects, aiming to deal with cultivating future high-quality teachers in the form of two sub-seminars on separate topics.

 

This year’s academic meeting brings to CTER far beyond crystalizing education theories and practical summaries during the past 1 year of teacher education discipline construction. The implication, more importantly, consists in the persistent hardworking in CTER development

 

anticipated in the future, network of intimate partnerships and overall considerations for broadening views in teacher education teams’ establishment and training.
