The Unveiling Ceremony of the Partner Base, product of cooperation between the Centre of Teacher Education Research (CTER) in BNU and the Centre of Education Research in University of Macao, is held in Macao

On 26th December, the unveiling ceremony of the Partner Base established by CTER, the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences for Higher Education in the Ministry of Education and the the Centre of Education Research in University of Macao is concluded successfully in Macao, signifying a further step on the part of CTER in BNU to facilitate development in the Discipline of Teacher Education and construction of teachers’ team in Guang Dong, Hong Kong and Macao Great Bay Area.

 

‘The Centre of Education Research in University of Macao cannot be built without staunch support from Macao SAR government.’ says President Song,Yonghua. ‘And it is the only research base concerning education that finds its way in public university in Macao SAR.’ The center of Education Research in University of Macao dedicates itself to cultivating high-competency educational professionals capable of carrying on “One Country, Two System” policy and “Embracing Nation as well as Macao” spirit.

 

 

In the heel of this, Minster of the Department of Education and Director of CTER Zhu,Xudong participates work conference with Kong,Zhaowei, Vice Dean of the Education Division and Zhou,Mingming, Director of the Center of Education Research in University of Macao. Agreement has been reached as to give full reins to edges on each side, deepening cooperation with aspect to scientific projects, outcomes display, academic meetings for notes-exchange and reciprocal training of graduates. They also identify this unveiling ceremony as a milestone in their cooperation history.

 

 

 

Since August in 2018, the two sides actively collaborate in promoting issues on Partner Base construction with a series of documents signed. They also share dispositions to form a dynamic and sustainable interaction in the interests of both advances in the discipline of education. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Macao SAR government, and the “Double-First-Rate” goal set by BNU for its position answer to the Everest of the highest altitude, the Partner Base, as a beneficiary from both sides’ strong educational and research foundation, will gradually be transformed into an exemplary leading research institution of teacher education that is internationally influential. Its functions are felt in the implementation of serving for “One Country, Two System” policy as well as educational development and teachers team construction in Guang Dong, Hong Kong and Macao Great Bay Area, highlighting the ‘National Team’ in CTER of BNU as a driving force in constructing the discipline of teacher education.
