Center for Teacher Education Research of Beijing Normal University (CTER) celebrated the graduation of its students on June 19, 2024 in a heartfelt ceremony. Teachers, graduates with their families and other students gathered to honor the achievements of graduates completing their academic journeys.

Ceremony Highlights

1. Red Carpet Moments: Capturing Memories

Graduates walked the red carpet with mentors or family, commemorating their growth and stepping into brighter futures. A dedicated photo session preserved their cherished moments at CTER.

2. Farewell Tributes: Heartfelt Blessings

Underclassmen shared video messages, wishing graduates courage and gratitude as they embark on new paths. Prof. Song Huan emphasized the university’s and the center’s motto ,urging graduates to uphold their mission in advancing teacher education.

3. Cultural Performances: A Global Tapestry

International PhD students energized the crowd with Ghana’s Adowa Dance, showcasing CTER’s multicultural ethos. A song by Wang Qiuyun evoked nostalgia for campus life, while the chorus "Climbing Spring Mountain" by Gao Yongyue, Rong Qing and Wang Yuqing symbolized hope and resilience. Besides, international PhD candidates Ayubu, Erick, and Shuaib delivered a heartfelt impromptu performance of the Chinese classic "Fairytale".

4. Graduate Reflections: Gratitude and Aspiration

Doctoral graduate Yan Ziluo and master’s graduate Luo Renjie shared their academic journeys, expressing gratitude to mentors and reaffirming their dedication to teacher education.

5. Farewell Gifts: Symbols of Wisdom

Graduates received folding fans inscribed with CTER’s guiding principle.
