Center for Teacher Education Research of Beijing Normal University (CTER), Key Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences for Universities, Ministry of Education and the Institute of Curriculum and Instruction East China Normal University (ICI), another Key Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences for Universities, Ministry of Education, have maintained a longstanding and friendly exchange program. Each year, both institutions select a number of doctoral students to participate in reciprocal visits, aiming to foster closer relationships, promote peer-to-peer exchanges, and nurture enduring friendship between the two organizations.

The doctoral visiting program encompassed various modules, including academic lectures, classroom observations, thematic workshops, youth scholar dialogues, school visits, and academic forums. Through these activities, the program aimed to facilitate mutual understanding and cooperation, as well as enhance academic and professional growth for the participating doctoral students from both institutions. The successful implementation of this program further solidifies the bond between Beijing Normal University and East China Normal University, contributing to the advancement of research and scholarship in the field of education.
