Her main research areas include Teacher Education Policies, Professional Development of Teachers, Teacher and School Culture Research, and Comparative Teacher Education Research. She has published over fifty academic papers in recent years and has participated in several provincial and ministerial-level projects and international collaborative projects. She has served as a Chinese official in the China-Australia Government-to-Government Education Cooperation Project.
