Xiaoyan Li is a post-doctoral researcher at the Center for Teacher Education Research of Beijing Normal University. Her research focuses on teacher education, educational leadership, and school improvement. She got her Ph.D. at UNSW, Sydney, Australia (Supervisors: Professor Colin Evers, Professor Scott Eacott). While studying at UNSW, she received the University International Postgraduate Award (UIPA). She has published about 20 research articles in peer-reviewed journals both in English and Mandarin. She has been responsible for designing, implementing, and conducting follow-up research on more than ten in-service teacher education programs.
