With the implementation of "double reduction", the environment and quality of basic education are changing. Thus, teachers' teaching thinking mode  needs to be changed, the talent training of higher normal education also faces new challenges. Teachers should understand the essence of education, evaluation and homework, pay attention to diagnostic and comprehensive evaluation in practice, and design homework flexibly and diversified. The training of teachers in higher normal schools should cultivate the qualities of teachers in the new era according to the adjusted goals, such as the quality of home-school education, the critical thinking ability of public opinion, etc. At the same time, the higher normal education should also promote the cross-disciplinary learning of students and teachers and strengthen the coordination between normal colleges and primary and secondary schools.
