课程简介：

 

This course introduces students to basic principles and concepts of assessment in the context of English as a second/foreign language (ESL/EFL), with a particular emphasis on English language assessment and testing in the secondary schools in China. The course introduces major purposes and types of ESL/EFL assessments.

This course includes a practical examination of the major categories of English language assessment and testing, which aims to equip English language teachers with knowledge, principles and strategies to assess and test their students’ achievements in English language learning.
