课程简介：

This course introduces students to basic principles and concepts of teaching English as a second/foreign language, with a particular emphasis on English language teaching in the secondary schools in China. The course seeks to equip teachers of English Language in the secondary classroom with the knowledge and skills necessary for informed decision-making and competent classroom practice in the face of changing theories of language pedagogy. Topics include the second language curriculum, presenting and practicing new language, development of the four skills, lesson planning, and managing classroom activities.
